About me
I am a 32 year old guy from Norway who has been working with Dynamics Ax (Axapta) since 1998. First as a developer, senior developer and now as technology manager for Columbus IT Norway.
As you might understand, this blog will focus on Dynamics Ax and surounding products (MS SQL, SharePoint, Office +++) from a technology point of view (as opposed to a functional point of view).
I will try to write my thoughts on new features, add code-snippets and tips and hints. I find a lot of other blogs tend to link to other blogs or to information elsewhere, which i find disturbing, so I’ll try not to.

Here you have your first comment! I’m also blogging about several of the same issues as you have envountered so far – sad but true. Let’s continue to contribute to the ever growing AX 2009 community an dcarry up the good work!
Nice blog. Not sure how I came accross it as was googling other keywords but I liked the info anyway.
I have development experience in X++ in Dynamics AX, but am completely new to Enterprise Portal development. So any help is appreciated.
I have to build a simple website that allows our distributors to log in and submit some contact information about prospective new leads. This information should then be analyzed / checked / verified by AX and a new lead should be created if approved. The logic that does the verification and creates the lead will be in AX classes.
What is the best way to approach this situation? If you could give me some idea where to start and how to go about approaching this task, I’d really appreciate that. Are there any good examples currently in AX that do something similar to this?
Thanks.
